Jin Ok-dong, chairman of Shinhan Financial Group, will hold an investor relations (IR) roadshow for overseas institutional investors in the United States, Mexico, and Canada from the 10th through the 22nd.
Shinhan Financial Group said the schedule was arranged to share its mid- to long-term strategy to enhance the group's corporate value and its shareholder return policy based on the "Shinhan Value-Up 2.0" released last month.
Jin plans to explain the group's strengthened corporate value enhancement plan, including: ▲ a shareholder return framework linked to return on equity (ROE) and growth rate ▲ a capital policy that improves predictability and sustainability ▲ a revenue diversification strategy based on the global business platform. He will also assess how rising volatility in global financial markets, stemming from the prolonged Middle East war, is affecting the financial industry and share Shinhan Financial's response direction.
Jin will meet with major global asset managers and pension fund investors to explain the stability and fundamentals of Korea's financial market, and will visit local subsidiaries and branches to review the status of global business operations and regional growth strategies.
Jin said, "Transparent and consistent communication with investors is an important foundation for enhancing corporate value," adding, "Shinhan Financial will faithfully explain to global investors a predictable and sustainable framework in which the group's growth and shareholder returns expand together, and will continue to promote corporate value enhancement based on market trust."
