KH Group has completed the selection of the "2026 sports rising-star scholarship students."
KH Group said on the 6th that at the Cheorwon Judo Center in Cheorwon County, Gangwon Province, it selected the three brothers Jeon Min-seong, Jeon Min-hyeong, and Jeon Min-gyun as "2026 sports rising-star scholarship students," delivered scholarships, and carried out talent-donation activities.
The three brothers Jeon Min-seong, Jeon Min-hyeong, and Jeon Min-gyun, selected as KH sports rising-star scholarship students, are identical triplets who were introduced in 2019 on KBS's Human Theater in the episode titled "Please take care of the triplets." The brothers, who live with their grandmother and grandfather and dream of becoming national team members, drew public attention.
They began practicing judo together in the lower grades of elementary school and, by steadily posting results at the National Youth Sports Festival and the Youth and Junior International Judo Tournament, are being called local prospects.
At the scholarship presentation, the brothers said, "We always train together, sweating side by side, so we are grateful and moved to receive such warm support," adding, "We want to grow into athletes with good character as well as good results and make sure to repay the support we received today."
After the scholarship presentation, the KH Group Philux Judo Team also carried out a talent-donation activity. Hwang Hee-tae, head coach of the national judo team and a member of the Philux Judo Team, and Professor Song Dae-nam, the 2012 London Olympics gold medalist, personally served as instructors and taught judo techniques to about 80 local elementary, middle, and high school students.
Attending the event were Choi Won, Director General of the KH Group Philux Judo Team; Im Dae-su, head of the Cheorwon County Sports Council; Choi Mu-gyu, head of the Cheorwon County Judo Association; Seo Jeong-bo, Director of the Culture and Sports Department at Cheorwon County Office; judo coaches and athletes in Cheorwon County; and about 100 other local culture and sports officials, who also took time to encourage and communicate with aspiring judo athletes.
Choi Won, Director General of the KH Group Philux Judo Team, said, "We will continue our interest and support so that sports prospects can nurture their dreams in a stable environment."
Meanwhile, KH Group selects and supports scholarship students in various sports every year through the Blue Sharing Foundation. In 2026, it completed the selection of sports rising-star scholarship students in judo, soccer, inline skating, swimming, and chess.
KH Group founded the Philux Judo Team in 2019, the nation's only purely private corporate unemployment judo team, and the team is currently led by Coach Hwang Hee-tae, who served as head coach of the national team. National team members such as Lee Seung-yeop and Jang Se-yun belong to the team.
