Yuanta Securities Korea said on the 30th it will hold a "semiconductor sector investment strategy" seminar on July 7, centered on Samsung Electronics and SK hynix.
The seminar is intended to review the semiconductor investment sector, where expectations for earnings growth continue despite pressure from recent share price gains, and to outline future investment directions. In particular, it will take a deep dive into investment strategies focused on structural changes emerging across the supply chain as artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure investment expands.
Baek Gil-hyeon, a researcher at Yuanta Securities Korea, will explain that the semiconductor industry is entering a phase of structural profit growth beyond a simple price upcycle.
In part two, Ahn Seok-hyeon, a reporter at EZ KIPOST, will present the importance of central processing units (CPU), commodity DRAM, and NAND flash, along with the need to reappraise traditional memory and CPU companies such as Intel, Samsung Electronics, and Kioxia.
Applications and inquiries for the seminar can be made to the branch manager in charge, and registration will close on a first-come, first-served basis. The event will be held at 4 p.m. on the 3rd floor YSK Hall of the Anchor One Building in Yeouido, Seoul.
