Korea Exchange (KRX) said on the 24th that it delivered 385 million won in "KRX Dreamnarae" sponsorship funds to the Green Umbrella Busan Regional Headquarters to support young people in Busan preparing for independence.
KRX Dreamnarae is a program that provides up to 32 million won over as many as five years for self-development and living-stability funds to young people who begin independence without sufficient preparation, along with various programs such as independence education and career and financial consulting.
Attending the delivery event were Jeong Sang-ho, secretary-general of the KRX National Happiness Foundation, Jo Yu-jin, head of the Green Umbrella Busan Regional Headquarters, and young people preparing for independence.
This year, 10 young people preparing for independence who are nearing the end of protection were selected as the fourth class of Dreamnarae, and a launch ceremony was held. Senior participants from the first to third classes also attended the launch ceremony to share their independence experiences and know-how.
Jeong Eun-bo, chair of the Korea Exchange (KRX), said, "I hope young people preparing for independence can settle into society stably and design their own futures," adding, "We will continue our sustained interest and support together with the local community going forward."
