SpaceX listing-related beneficiaries are all strong early on the 22nd.
As of 10:05 a.m., Mirae Asset Venture Investment is trading at 59,200 won, up 11,850 won (25.03%) from the previous session. It traded at 61,500 won intraday, marking a 1-year high.
At the same time, AJU IB INVESTMENT (20.71%) and YJ Link (9.6%) are also strong.
Investor sentiment appears to be flocking to beneficiaries that invested in SpaceX on news that SpaceX, the aerospace company led by Tesla CEO Elon Musk, could list as early as June.
SpaceX's listing is expected to be the largest initial public offering (IPO) on record. SpaceX plans to raise a total of $75 billion and be valued at $1.75 trillion.
Reuters also reported that SpaceX will introduce dual-class shares. Class A shares for retail investors carry one vote per share, while Class B shares held by Musk and others carry 10 votes per share. The market views this as allowing Musk to maintain control by using the dual-class voting system.
The investment prospectus also disclosed SpaceX's detailed financials. As of the end of last year, SpaceX had total assets of $92 billion (about 136 trillion won), liabilities of $50.8 billion, and cash holdings of $24.8 billion. It posted annual revenue of $18.6 billion last year and a loss of $4.9 billion.
