KB Securities said on the 21st that it signed a "business partnership agreement for operating an embedded finance business" with SK Planet on the 17th at SK Planet's headquarters in Pangyo, Seongnam.
"Embedded finance" refers to combining a financial company's services with a nonfinancial platform. Through this partnership, the two companies plan to link KB Securities' financial application programming interface (API) with SK Planet's everyday-life platform.
Based on this, they plan to expand cooperation across various areas, including ▲ platform-customized financial services ▲ user-centered investment services ▲ more advanced, data-driven financial experiences.
At the signing ceremony, Son Hee-jae, head of the digital business group at KB Securities, and Kim Gyo-su, head of the business division at SK Planet, and other key officials from both companies attended.
