Standard Chartered Bank Korea said on the 17th it will strengthen the core values of its "next-generation private banking model," designed for high-asset clients, and roll out a global lifestyle program in earnest to match.
The private banking model for clients with more than 1 billion won in Standard Chartered Bank Korea deposit asset is characterized by adopting wealth management know-how proven in global markets such as Singapore, Hong Kong, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to fit domestic conditions.
As part of a global lifestyle program for private banking model clients, Standard Chartered Bank Korea will host in May a "master class with Coach Park Se-ri." The master class is a core component of the "thought leadership" program, which shares insights from leaders in each field and provides practical inspiration for clients' business decisions.
Notably, Coach Park Se-ri, the first client of Standard Chartered Bank Korea's private banking center, will personally take part in this event, adding significance. Clients selected by on-site drawing will be able to receive Park's one-point lesson directly, and special opportunities available only to Standard Chartered Bank Korea clients—such as one-on-one intensive lessons from a professional golfer and a private dinner—will be offered.
In November last year, Standard Chartered Bank Korea opened a large-scale private banking center in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, for high-asset clients with more than 1 billion won in deposit asset and began an international-level wealth management business. In the second half of this year, it plans to further expand private banking centers to increase PB clients.
Experiential events leveraging the strength of its global network also continued actively this month. On the 5th, through collaboration between the SC Group and The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, clients were invited aboard "LUMINARA," the newest ship in The Ritz-Carlton's global yacht collection fleet. Standard Chartered Bank Korea also collaborated with Porsche's official dealer SSCL to run a new car exhibition docent program at Porsche Center Busan and Porsche Studio Hannam.
