Korea Investment Management (KIM) said on the 21st that the combined net worth of the two classes of the "Korea Investment Global AI & Semiconductor TOP10 Fund" has topped 1 trillion won.
According to FnGuide, as of the previous day, the unhedged currency (UH) and hedged currency (H) classes of the fund had net worth under management of 495.3 billion won and 514 billion won, respectively, bringing the combined net worth to over 1 trillion won.
This means the combined net worth surpassed 1 trillion won three years after its initial launch in Mar. 2023. If the U.S. dollar (USD) class is included, the combined net worth of the three classes increases to 1.0706 trillion won.
As of the 10th of this month, the top holdings in the Korea Investment Global AI & Semiconductor TOP10 Fund included ▲ Google (Alphabet A) ▲ TSMC ▲ Broadcom ▲ Nvidia ▲ SK hynix ▲ Arm ▲ Vertiv Holdings ▲ Meta ▲ Apple ▲ Tesla.
Kim Hyun-tae, head of global quant management at KIM, said, "Industries that grow rapidly with the emergence of new technologies often see frequent changes in leading corporations, so active management can help returns," and added, "We will continue to pursue strong returns through stock selection based on a deep understanding of the industry."
