AIA Life said it has overhauled its healthcare services so customers can receive needed support even at the stage before disease treatment.
The AIA healthcare service is an integrated healthcare program that goes beyond insurance coverage to encompass everything from health management to treatment, recovery, and family caregiving. This overhaul strengthens core services that customers actually use most, including preferred discounts and reservations for health checkups, 24-hour real-time health consultations, guidance to specialists and appointment booking, and phone counseling with psychologists.
Depending on each service's characteristics, there are items that families can use together. Private Medical Concierge and overseas medical support are available not only to the customer but also to family members from the health management stage.
The revamped services are offered to customers who meet the related enrollment conditions on or after the 1st and apply for the services. AIA Life plans to keep refining its service operations so customers can receive appropriate support one step ahead at the moment they actually need it, not after a disease occurs.
Yoo Sin-ok, head of customer operations at AIA Life, said, "This healthcare service overhaul is designed so that customers can receive support that is practically helpful from the moment they begin to worry about their health, 'before they feel sick.'"
