Kiwoom Securities said on the 16th that it is running a promotion to pay 15,000 won in cash the same day to all customers who newly open a brokerage-type individual savings account (ISA) through the Toss app.
If you open a Kiwoom Securities brokerage-type ISA account in the Toss app before 4 p.m., cash will be paid the same day. If you open it after 4 p.m., you will receive it the next day.
In addition, various brokerage-type ISA promotions are underway on the Kiwoom Securities website and the mobile trading system (MTS) Hero Moneys#. Customers who received cash in the Toss app can also participate in the promotions. Kiwoom Securities noted that if you meet the participation requirements, you can receive up to 5.51 million won in additional benefits.
The brokerage-type ISA promotion consists of three benefits. All customers who newly open a brokerage-type ISA account or transfer from another firm will receive a 10,000 won investment support payment. In addition, an additional investment support payment of 15,000 won to 500,000 won will be provided through a drawing. Customers transferring from another firm are given priority in the drawing.
Also, for customers who make a net deposit of at least 2 million won into a brokerage-type ISA account and trade at least one share of a domestic stock or an exchange-traded fund (ETF), up to 5 million won in investment support will be awarded by drawing. However, the condition is to maintain the balance through July 31 this year.
Depending on the size of the net deposit, payments range from 10,000 won to 700,000 won. Customers who transfer 10 million won or more from another firm will have their net deposit amount recognized at double, allowing them to receive higher benefits. Also, for customers transferring from another firm, if they deposit 30 million won or more, a bonus benefit of 1 million won (3 winners) or 5 million won (1 winner) will be provided through a drawing.
Lastly, in the trading promotion, for customers who make net purchases of 5 million won or more of domestic stocks or ETFs in a brokerage-type ISA account, one share of a domestically listed ETF will be awarded by drawing. Five issues are eligible, including KODEX KOSDAQ150, TIGER Semiconductor TOP10, and KODEX 200, and both new and existing customers can participate.
