Samsung Securities said on the 15th that it was selected as a member of the "Sustainability Yearbook 2026," published by S&P Global, one of the world's three major credit rating agencies.
The Sustainability Yearbook is an annual compendium by S&P Global based on the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) that selects corporations that show strong performance across environmental, social and governance (ESG) areas.
Among corporations worldwide, the top 10% with outstanding ESG management performance are selected, and this year 848 companies were chosen as top corporations out of 9,200 across 59 industries globally. Of these, 63 were corporations in Korea, and Samsung Securities was named to the list for the 16th consecutive year.
Meanwhile, Samsung Securities established an ESG Committee under the board of directors to set strategy and policy direction for ESG management, and is carrying out tasks across each ESG field in a systematic manner.
A Samsung Securities official said, "We will continue to do our best to enhance long-term corporate value and fulfill our social responsibilities through ESG management."
