Mirae Asset Park Hyeon Joo Foundation said on the 15th that it is starting selection for the "35th Mirae Asset overseas exchange scholarship students."
This selection is for undergraduates at 4-year universities in Korea who are scheduled to be dispatched for the fall semester this year through their universities' overseas exchange programs. After a document review and an online video interview based on artificial intelligence (AI), a total of 250 scholarship students will be selected. Scholarships will be provided by destination country to create an environment that allows selected students to focus on their local studies and global experiences.
Applications are accepted online and will be open from today until 3 p.m. on Apr. 21. After screening, the final successful candidates will be announced on Jun. 25.
Starting with the first class in 2007, the foundation has supported about 7,900 scholarship students to date. It also runs various networking programs, including "scholarship student correspondents," who share local updates during their stay abroad, and the "MEET-UP Project," which supports knowledge sharing among scholarship students after they return.
