The Korea Capital Market Institute said on the 13th that it appointed Senior Research Fellow Lee In-hyung as the new vice president.
Lee graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in international economics and earned a Ph.D. in economics from Brown University in the United States. After working at LG Economic Research Institute and Suwon University, Lee served at the Korea Capital Market Institute as head of trend analysis, head of research coordination, and head of capital markets.
Lee also served as a Commissioner of the Financial Development Review Committee of the Financial Services Commission, a market surveillance Commissioner at the Korea Exchange (KRX), head of the fund contribution management evaluation team at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and a specialist member for stewardship at the National Pension Fund of the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
Lee's term begins on the day. An official at the Korea Capital Market Institute said, "Lee has conducted active research in asset price determination, sustainability valuation, and disclosures."
