The Financial Services Commission said on the 12th that it held the first "Financial Services Commission (FSC) Person Award" ceremony and awarded a total of 18 million won in prize money to three employees.
Winners included Deputy Director Lee Yong-jun, who oversaw measures to strengthen the fundamentals of the capital market (10 million won); Deputy Director Lee Sang-won, who contributed to the creation and operation of the New Leap Fund to support long-term arrears holders (5 million won); and Assistant Deputy Director Jeong In-geon, who conducted digital forensic analysis for the joint task force to eradicate stock price manipulation (3 million won).
Lee Eog-weon, chair of the Financial Services Commission, said, "We will continue to deliver bold rewards for outstanding performance and produce financial policy outcomes that the public can feel."
