Twelve companies listed on the KOSPI and 42 listed on the KOSDAQ are facing the risk of delisting.
On Apr. 9, the Korea Exchange (KRX) announced the "Status of market measures related to December settlement of account corporations for the 2025 business year on the KOSPI and KOSDAQ markets" and stated accordingly.
As a result of this settlement of account, the KOSPI saw ◇ 12 companies with grounds for delisting ▲ eight newly designated as under surveillance and three removed from the list, among other market measures.
Seven companies received a substandard audit opinion for the first time this time: e-STARCO, Dynamic Design, STX, Daeho AL, The WillBes, Hands Corporation, and KwangMyung Electric. These corporations can file an objection within 15 business days from the date they are notified of the grounds for delisting, and if an objection is filed, whether to grant a period for improvement will be decided.
Corporations with substandard audit opinions for two consecutive years number four: Kumyang, KC GreenHoldings, Bumyang Construction, and Sambu Engineering & Construction. The corporation with a substandard audit opinion for three consecutive years is one: Hanchang. For those where the grounds occurred for two consecutive years, if the improvement period ends by the 14th of this month, the listing disclosure committee will deliberate and decide whether to delist, among other measures.
e-STARCO, Daeho AL, Hands Corporation, The WillBes, KwangMyung Electric, Exicure Hitron, GeneOne Life Science, and AREITS were newly designated as under surveillance, while STAR SM REIT, ENPLUS, and KC Cottrell were removed from the under-surveillance list.
Meanwhile, on the KOSDAQ market, 23 companies, including Dawonsys, Rolling Stone, MEDICOX, ITOXI, Enzychem Lifesciences, OptiCore, JSCO Holdings, and KD, newly incurred grounds for delisting. Eleven, including OliPass, DA Technology, and Samyung ENC, received substandard audit opinions for two consecutive years. TERA SCIENCE, Noble M&B, and Sysweek, among others, received substandard audit opinions for three consecutive years.
KOSDAQ-listed companies that received an audit opinion of "disclaimer" for the first time, like those on the KOSPI, have 15 business days from the delisting notice date to submit an objection by the listed company. For those with substandard audit opinions for two consecutive years, delisting and other measures will be decided after deliberation by the corporate review committee.
On the KOSDAQ market, 17 corporations were newly designated as under surveillance, and 10 were removed. Forty-three corporations were newly designated as investment caution reminder issues, and 21 were removed.
