IBK Asset Management said on the 9th that it appointed Chief Executive Officer Lim Chan-hee and Executive Vice President Lee Sang-jik, respectively.
CEO Lim graduated from the Department of Accounting at Sungkyunkwan University and earned an MBA from the Helsinki School of Economics. After joining Industrial Bank of Korea (IBK) in 1983, Lim served in key posts including head of the Gwacheon and Samseong-dong branches, head of the CMS Business Department, senior inspector at the Inspection Department, head of the Gangnam Regional Headquarters, head of the Retail Customer Group, and head of the Wealth Management Group (vice president).
Executive Vice President Lee graduated from the Department of Business Administration at the University of Seoul and, after joining Industrial Bank of Korea (IBK) in 1991, served as head of the Waegwan branch, head of the Trust Department, head of the Dongdaemun and Uijeongbu branches, and head of the Gangdong Regional Headquarters, building diverse field and organizational management experience.
An IBK Asset Management official said, "Through these executive appointments, we will further strengthen our client wealth management capabilities and, based on tailored investment solutions, enhance product competitiveness and portfolio management expertise," adding, "In addition, we will strengthen our competitiveness as a comprehensive asset management company by diversifying our business portfolio."
