Transaction delays occurred on the Meritz Securities home trading system (HTS) and mobile trading system (MTS) due to a system error.
According to the financial investment industry on the 9th, from 3:40 p.m. to 4:10 p.m., for about 30 minutes after the market closed that day, login failures and transaction delays occurred on Meritz Securities' HTS and MTS.
Investors experienced inconvenience as they were unable to view their holdings or place orders.
The incident was reportedly caused by an internal staff member confusing the system.
A Meritz Securities official said, "A temporary transaction delay occurred due to a system error," and noted, "Service has now been restored, and we plan to identify the exact cause and work to prevent a recurrence."
