NH Investment & Securities said on the 6th that it completed the offering of "N2 IMA1 midterm type No. 1," a comprehensive investment account (IMA) product.
IMA is a product that invests deposits in corporations' financial asset and returns the performance to customers.
The investment period of "N2 IMA1 midterm type No. 1," launched by NH Investment & Securities, is 2 years and 6 months, and the baseline rate of return is 4.0% per year. The offering size is 400 billion won.
The product is managed mainly with corporations loans, corporate bonds, and acquisition financing—corporations finance (IB) asset. If held to maturity, NH Investment & Securities guarantees the principal.
NH Investment & Securities cited the competitiveness of its IB institutional sector as the reason the IMA product sold out.
According to NH Investment & Securities, it recorded top-tier results in the industry in stock issuance (ECM) and bond issuance (DCM) institutional sectors last year, and the fact that it is an affiliate of NH NongHyup Financial Group also helped build investor trust.
NH Investment & Securities said it plans to use this IMA launch as a springboard to expand the personal asset management market and to strengthen a virtuous cycle in the capital market through investments based on corporations finance.
