Virtual asset exchange Upbit will hold an event offering dinner invitations with U.S. President Donald Trump to the top 20 investors holding the meme coin "Official Trump (TRUMP)" through the 7th.
According to Upbit on the 6th, the event is hosted by the Official Trump team, and the dinner with President Trump is scheduled to take place on the 25th of this month (local time) at Mar-a-Lago Resort in Florida. Attendance is capped at 297 people worldwide.
Among them, 29 top holders will receive passes to a VIP (very important person) reception attended by President Trump. A VIP reception pass grants eligibility to join a champagne toast with President Trump and 18 key figures. Upbit will give VIP reception passes to the top two among the 20 holders.
Winners will be announced on the 8th. However, even if selected as the final 20, participation is confirmed only if no issues arise in the Official Trump team's identity check. Upbit provides only the invitation opportunity for the event and does not cover airfare, lodging, or other expenses.
The Official Trump team also invited the top 220 Official Trump holders to a dinner at Trump National Golf Club near Washington, D.C., in May last year. At the time, Official Trump purchased by investors to secure dinner attendance rights reached $140 million (about 211.5 billion won).
According to U.S. business outlet CNBC, since the launch of Official Trump, transaction fees flowing into entities related to President Trump totaled $324 million (489.0 billion won) as of May last year.
