Toss operator Viva Republica (hereafter Toss) said on the 31st that it logged 2.6983 trillion won in consolidation revenue last year. That was up 38% from a year earlier, the highest performance on record.
Operating profit for the same period rose 270% to 336 billion won, and net profit jumped 846.7% to 201.8 billion won.
Toss cited the advancement of its platform business as the driver of revenue growth. It said the expansion of customer-participation services and competitive offerings from affiliates increased the inflow of new users and engagement within the Toss app.
In particular, as the efficiency of big data-based targeted ads improved, advertising revenue grew, and the scale of simple payments increased with more merchants and expanded in-app commerce, boosting transaction volume.
By the end of last year, Toss improved monetization efficiency by securing high conversion rates and usage frequency across advertising, payments, and financial services, backed by more than 30 million subscribers.
A Toss official said, "2025 was a year when Toss confirmed revenue growth based on a solid customer base and service competitiveness," adding, "the expansion of usage across services such as advertising, payments, and finance, and synergy effects within the platform translated into tangible revenue."
