NH Investment & Securities said on the 31st that Chairman Lee Chan-woo of NH Nonghyup Financial Group visited the NH Investment & Securities Yeong-eop-bu Finance Center and signed up for N2 IMA 1 mid-term type No. 1, the first comprehensive investment account (IMA) product of NH Investment & Securities.
Earlier, NH Investment & Securities carried out a paid-in capital increase to meet the requirements for IMA business authorization. This was done through a strategic decision by NH Nonghyup Financial Group, reflecting a group-level judgment to strengthen competitiveness in the capital market. NH Investment & Securities said, "With the support and interest of the financial holding company, we have been able to push ahead with the IMA business in a stable manner."
IMA is a financial product that goes beyond a simple product launch to support the real economy and innovative growth by supplying venture capital. Only mega-sized securities firms with equity capital of 8 trillion won or more can operate it, and it has a structure in which the securities firm manages it directly and bears the obligation to pay principal.
The newly launched N2 IMA1 mid-term type No. 1 product has an investment period of 2 years and 6 months, a benchmark return of 4.0%, and a fundraising amount set at 400 billion won. It is managed with a focus on corporate finance (IB) assets such as corporate loans, corporate bonds, and acquisition finance.
Through the launch of IMA, NH Investment & Securities plans to expand the personal wealth management market while strengthening a virtuous cycle in the capital market through corporate finance-based investment.
Chairman Lee Chan-woo of NH Nonghyup Financial Group said, "IMA products are meaningful products that simultaneously perform the essential role of productive finance—stable management of customer assets and capital supply to the real economy," adding, "NH Nonghyup Financial will continue to expand financial products that contribute to customers and productive finance."
