The National Pension Service (NPS) said on the 30th that it will hold an online briefing session for hiring new associate portfolio managers.
The recruiting briefing will be held as a webinar using the Webex video conferencing system for about an hour from 2 p.m. on the 14th of next month. Attendance is limited to the first 500 people.
Applications to participate can be made on the recruitment notice page of the National Pension Fund Management Headquarters website from 9 a.m. that day to 6 p.m. on the 8th of next month.
The session will provide an introduction to the National Pension Service (NPS) and the Fund Management Headquarters, details of the hiring process for associate portfolio managers, and guidance on the headquarters' work environment and living conditions.
It will be followed by time to hear directly from current employees in ▲ investment (Front Office) and investment control (Middle Office) ▲ investment support (Back Office) about their roles and responsibilities, and to answer participants' questions.
The National Pension Service (NPS) plans to use this recruiting session to resolve applicants' questions and secure top investment talent.
The job posting is scheduled to be published next month, and a total of 10 people will be selected. There are no education or experience restrictions for eligibility, but for accounting roles, applicants must have passed the second stage of the Korean certified public accountant exam or hold the certification.
Kim Sung-joo, chairman of the National Pension Service (NPS), said, "This session will not only introduce the hiring system but also share firsthand job experiences and organizational culture from active portfolio managers," adding, "We look forward to the participation of many excellent and capable talents who will grow into future investment management experts."
