The KONEX Association said it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korea M&A Exchange on the 24th to support partnership cooperation and mutual cooperation through business matching for KONEX member companies.
Under the agreement, the two institutions will support the entire process for key business needs of KONEX member companies—such as mergers and acquisitions (M&A), business succession, and investment attraction—from identification and matching to transaction completion.
Hwang Chang-soon, head of the KONEX Association, said, "Through cooperation with the Korea M&A Exchange, the KONEX Association will support more effective access to a variety of growth opportunities, including M&A and investment attraction, and will strengthen the foundation for the sustainable growth of the KONEX market and KONEX member companies by building a cooperation ecosystem based on business matching."
Meanwhile, the Korea M&A Exchange is a specialized M&A brokerage agency for domestic small and mid-sized enterprises established in 2006.
