Hana Asset Management will hold a seminar titled "2026 investment survival strategy: ask!" for individual investors at 6 p.m. on the 31st at FKI Tower in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.
The seminar will focus on this year's investment survival strategies amid a volatile market. In particular, market analysis and investment strategies under the "A.S.K" theme will center on space and aviation tech, a silver physical active exchange-traded fund (ETF), and a KOSPI active ETF.
The space and aviation tech institutional sector will be led by Jeong Eui-hun, a researcher at Eugene Investment & Securities. Jeong will discuss the outlook and investment strategies for the space and aviation tech industry, focusing on the United States, under the theme "The space and aviation tech industry through the lens of a SpaceX listing."
Next, Cho Gyu-won, CEO of Stackers, will explain the outlook and investment strategies for the silver market under the theme "Why big players are buying: silver, the essential resource in the age of artificial intelligence (AI)."
Lastly, Lee Seon-yeop, CEO of AFW Partners, will talk about domestic stock investment strategies and a macro outlook under the theme "KOSPI 5000, not the end but the beginning."
In addition, Kim Seung-hyun, head of the ETF Quant Solutions division at Hana Asset Management, will introduce the "1Q ETF portfolio investment method" using the "A.S.K strategy" under the theme "An A.S.K strategy ETF solution explained in one go."
Hana Asset Management's "1Q ETF" holds the representative ETFs of the A.S.K strategy.
Notably, the "1Q U.S. space and aviation tech ETF" has the largest scale among U.S. space and aviation ETFs listed in Korea, with about 600 billion won in net assets. On the 6th, this ETF was also selected as the "2026 innovative ETF of the year" by Asia Asset Management (AAM) in Hong Kong.
If SpaceX goes public, this ETF will immediately add it to its holdings. Hana Asset Management projected that, if SpaceX lists, the ETF's SpaceX allocation will be the largest among all public offering funds in Korea.
The "1Q Silver Active ETF" is Korea's first ETF to invest in physical silver and is scheduled to list on the 31st. Because futures-type ETFs cannot be held in retirement pension accounts, investors currently cannot invest in silver through those accounts. Hana Asset Management said that once the 1Q Silver Active ETF is listed, it will be the first physical silver ETF available for investment in retirement pension accounts.
The "1Q 200 Active ETF" is an active product that aims to outperform the KOSPI 200 index return. The total fee is 0.01% per year, the lowest among all domestic benchmark index ETFs listed in Korea.
Kim Tae-woo, CEO of Hana Asset Management, said, "Considering the massive trend of AI along with asset allocation and a long-term investment perspective, the key keywords in this year's ETF market are U.S. space and aviation tech, physical silver, and KOSPI," adding, "The space and aviation tech industry will come to the fore with a SpaceX listing, silver will be a core metal in the AI era, and KOSPI will stand out further with the semiconductor supercycle and passage of the third amendment to the Commercial Act."
