Kiwoom Securities announced the winners of its in-house real-money investing competition, "2025 Kiwoom Hero Championship," on the 18th.
The Hero Championship is a champions' tournament open only to monthly prizewinners. This time, 7,711 people competed in domestic stocks and 6,791 in overseas stocks. The competition ran for about seven weeks from Nov. 4 to Dec. 19 last year, and a total of 6 billion won in prize money was awarded across the return and profit categories.
In the domestic stocks 1 hundred million league, "Sindang-dong Oki" took first place with a 272% return. In the overseas stocks 1 hundred million league, "Sikhu-ddaeng" took first with a 466% return, and each received 100 million won in prize money.
The highest overall return was 468.41%, recorded by "Power of Positivity123," the first-place finisher in the domestic stocks 1,000 league. The top overseas return was 465.61%, recorded by "Sikhu-ddaeng."
In the Super Whale event, which ranks competitors by profit amount, "Fairy of Shampoo" topped the domestic institutional sector with 1.80605 billion won in revenue, and "Gging-ggingi" topped the overseas institutional sector with 2.3826 billion won in revenue.
The awards ceremony was held on the 13th at Conrad Seoul in Yeouido, Seoul, with 18 major winners in attendance.
Meanwhile, Kiwoom Securities plans to hold the "2026 Kiwoom Hero Championship" in the second half of this year, with detailed schedules to be announced via HeroMUN 4 (HTS) and HeroMUN S# (MTS).
