Koscom said on the 18th that President Yun Chang-hyun took part in the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency-led "relay campaign to eradicate youth gambling."
The campaign was prepared by the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency to raise awareness of the seriousness of illegal cyber gambling that is spreading among teenagers and to heighten vigilance, and heads of major institutions in the financial investment industry are joining in a relay format.
Yun joined the campaign after being nominated by Bae Hyeong-geun, president of Hyundai Motor Securities. Yun nominated Lee Sun-ho, president of the Korea Securities Depository, and Park Hyun-cheol, president of Bookook Securities, as the next participants, asking for interest in and participation in the campaign.
Yun said, "Society as a whole needs attention and effort so that teenagers can be protected from the dangers of illegal gambling," and added, "Koscom will also fulfill various social responsibilities so that teenagers can grow up in a safe environment."
