Acryl, an integrated artificial intelligence transformation (AX) infrastructure specialist, was strong in early trading on the 13th. Analysts in the securities industry said buying gathered after noting that Acryl is expected to be the exclusive beneficiary if domestic graphics processing unit (GPU) adoption expands.
As of 9:48 a.m. on the 13th, on the KOSDAQ market, Acryl was trading at 46,800 won, up 8,300 won (21.56%) from the previous session.
Choi Seung-hwan, a researcher at Shinhan Investment & Securities, said, "As the global Ethernet-based data center market is growing rapidly, Acryl's GPU availability optimization software, GPUbase, can replace expensive InfiniBand," and added, "There are no clear competitors in this field, overseas big tech firms do not commercialize their in-house technologies, and because GPUbase is not tied to specific hardware environments and can scale universally, the artificial intelligence (AI) data center optimization market is effectively a winner-take-all structure."
Acryl's revenue this year is estimated at 30.4 billion won and operating profit at 4.9 billion won. Revenue rose 128.6% from a year earlier, and operating profit swung to a surplus.
Choi said, "Acryl has gained a large order opportunity from a large-scale GPU supply project at the national and conglomerate level, totaling 260,000 units that Nvidia agreed to provide domestically," and added, "Business talks are also underway with the entities slated to receive Nvidia GPU supplies and with overseas hyperscalers (large cloud providers), and given Blackwell's high unit price, order opportunities exceed 1 trillion won, with visibility expected in the third quarter of this year."
