Hanwha Investment & Securities said on Mar. 12 that Chief Executive Jang Byung-ho joined the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency-led "youth gambling eradication relay campaign."
The campaign is a nationwide relay effort aimed at raising social awareness of the dangers of the recent surge in illegal online gambling by teenagers and informing the public of the need for prevention.
Jang joined the campaign at the recommendation of Kyobo Securities Chief Executive Lee Seok-ki, who participated earlier. Meritz Securities Chief Executive Kim Jong-min was named as the next participant.
Jang said, "It is an important duty of society to help teenagers grow up healthy," adding, "We will continue to contribute to creating a social environment for future generations through diverse social contribution activities."
