Samsung Asset Management said on the 12th that it has launched the Samsung Global 6G Growth Plus Dividends Fund, which invests in next-generation communications technology corporations.
The fund invests in corporations that hold innovative technologies in sixth-generation mobile communications (6G), such as low Earth orbit satellites, satellite communications, optical communications, and communications semiconductors. Its holdings consist of growth corporations and global telecommunications companies with high dividend appeal.
6G is drawing attention as essential infrastructure technology to make the age of artificial intelligence (AI) a reality. It is evaluated as technology expected to realize ultra-high speed, ultra-low latency, and ultra-connectivity that surpass the limits of existing fifth-generation mobile communications (5G) technology. At the recent Mobile World Congress (MWC 2026), the world's largest mobile communications exhibition, communications technology was also treated as core infrastructure that goes beyond data delivery to connect and drive the overall industrial ecosystem.
The Samsung Global 6G Growth Plus Dividends Fund is currently available for subscription through Samsung Securities, and starting on the 13th, it will also be available at Woori Investment & Securities. The distributors will be expanded later.
Manager Kim Sung-min of Samsung Asset Management emphasized, "Through the Samsung Global 6G Growth Plus Dividends Fund, which invests in 6G-related tech stocks with high growth potential and in global telecommunications companies that provide solid dividend income, we will pursue both profitability and stability even in a volatile market."
