Sensorview jumped more than 9% in early trading on the 9th. Shares are rising for a third straight session on news it won a contract from LIG Nex1 to develop antennas for the UH-60 (Black Hawk) helicopter performance upgrade program.
As of 10:25 a.m., Sensorview was trading on the KOSDAQ at 2,950 won, up 9.67% (260 won) from the previous day.
On the 5th, Sensorview said in a filing that it signed a contract with LIG Nex1 to supply EJ antennas worth 1.152 billion won. That amounts to 7.38% of recent sales.
LIG Nex1 is pushing ahead with the UH-60 helicopter performance upgrade program in a consortium that includes Korean Air Lines. LIG Nex1 is in charge of the survivability equipment segment. Sensorview is said to plan to supply two types of aviation antennas applied to that segment and components for communications equipment.
The UH-60 is a multipurpose helicopter known as the "Black Hawk" and is currently used by the Army and Air Force for missions such as special operations.
