The chairmen of Korea's four major financial groups, including KB, Shinhan, Hana and Woori, will meet on the 4th with overseas investor groups such as global investment bank JP Morgan to discuss pending issues.
According to the financial sector, overseas investors including JP Morgan will hold meetings in turn that day with Yang Jong-hee, KB Financial chairman; Jin Ok-dong, Shinhan Financial Group chairman; Ham Young-joo, Hana Financial Group chairman; and Yim Jong-ryong, Woori Financial Group chairman.
They are said to share views at the meetings on each financial holding company's value-up (enhancing corporate value) and dividends policies, as well as the domestic financial and economic situation. The meetings came together as JP Morgan gathered major overseas investors for a visit. JP Morgan is also known to plan meetings with financial supervisory authorities.
