The company said the reshuffle was carried out to upgrade WM business competitiveness and investment strategy in step with the recent revitalization of the stock market and expanding investment demand. It also focused on strengthening data marketing through the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and enhancing client asset allocation capabilities.
Kim Min-gyun, head of the investment strategy institutional sector, was appointed head of the WM Studio institutional sector, and Research Center Head Park Hee-chan moved to lead the investment strategy institutional sector. The position of research center head was filled by Director Park Yeon-joo of the growth corporations analysis team.
Institutional Sector Head Kim Min-gyun led the investment strategy institutional sector based on deep insight into the global financial markets and strength in asset allocation strategy.
New Institutional Sector Head Park Hee-chan oversaw the research organization, presenting macroeconomic and investment strategies based on in-depth analysis of domestic and overseas financial markets and industries overall.
New Research Center Head Park Yeon-joo is an analyst who has provided professional analysis centered on global innovative tech corporations such as Tesla and Google, and was appointed as Mirae Asset Securities' first female research center head.
