KOSDAQ-listed ATUM said it will enter the artificial intelligence (AI) data center and next-generation high-efficiency server markets.
ATUM said on the 23rd that it made a strategic investment in Global Top Net, a corporations specializing in AI servers and data centers, and built a cooperative framework.
The company said the investment goes beyond a simple financial participation and is a strategic move to combine the core technologies of the two sides.
An ATUM official said, "The core of this partnership lies in the technological synergy between ATUM's high-efficiency power supply module and Global Top Net's next-generation server platform."
ATUM developed solutions that minimize energy loss and improve server operating stability based on high-efficiency power conversion technology. ATUM's high-efficiency power module will be installed in servers equipped with Global Top Net's "fluorinated ketone"–based new-material cooling and fire-suppression system.
The two sides plan to jointly build a next-generation AI server platform that maximizes energy efficiency and effectively controls heat generation, and supply it to domestic and overseas markets.
In addition to the public procurement market, the two sides plan to expand their business scope to edge data centers and private AI data center markets. Meanwhile, ATUM plans to actively work to enhance shareholder value as it expands its AI data center business.
Han Taek-su, CEO of ATUM, said, "By combining Global Top Net's server manufacturing capabilities with ATUM's power conversion technology, we will introduce high-efficiency solutions optimized for the AI era to the market."
