SNT Holdings said on the 10th that it filed a shareholder proposal to appoint directors and Audit Committee Commissioners ahead of SMEC's regular shareholders meeting.
The shareholder proposal follows SNT Holdings' change of purpose for its SMEC investment from "simple investment" to "influence over management." At the time, SNT Holdings said it would file a correction disclosure if specific plans were established.
SNT Holdings recommended Lee Byung-wan, CEO of SNT Robotics, Kim Hyun-su, executive director overseeing management at SNT Holdings, and Hong Heon-pyo, finance director at SNT Holdings, as internal director nominees. For outside directors, it recommended Cho Yong-ho, managing attorney at Saebit Law Firm, and as outside director nominees who will serve as Audit Committee Commissioners, it recommended accountant Lee Joo-han of Jeongin Accounting Corporation and managing attorney Lee Byung-il of Seeum Law Firm, respectively.
SNT Holdings said it made a shareholder proposal on appointing directors and Audit Committee Commissioners at SMEC's shareholders meeting "to enhance SMEC's mid- to long-term corporate value, strengthen transparency and rationality in management, and secure new growth drivers."
