Investor sentiment is reviving as the price of Bitcoin breaks through $70,000.
According to CoinMarketCap, a global virtual asset market tracker, at 8:45 a.m. on the 9th, Bitcoin was transaction at $70,528 per coin. It was down 8.6% from a week earlier but up 1.89% from 24 hours earlier. The price of Bitcoin plunged to $60,000 at one point last week but began to rebound over the weekend.
Around the same time, Ethereum was transaction at $2,095 per coin. It was down 7.53% from a week earlier but up 0.51% from 24 hours earlier. BNB was $640.43, down 1.07% from 24 hours earlier; XRP was $1.43, up 0.79%; and Solana was $87.03, down 0.68%.
Experts analyzed it as price volatility unique to virtual assets. Anthony Scaramucci, founder of SkyBridge Capital, said on CNBC over the weekend that "that is Bitcoin's nature," noting it was a common price correction.
