Global Fintech platform corporations Token Asia Korea said on the 23rd it signed a business contract for strategic export cooperation and financial support services with Segye Food, the manufacturer of Korea's leading nut brand "Murgerbon," and FB Holdings (FBH), a global distribution specialist.
Under the contract, Token Asia Korea will oversee ▲ strategic financial consulting ▲ design of a global supply-chain asset securitization structure.
Token Asia Korea noted that designing an asset securitization structure can serve as a catalyst to maximize export volume by easing capital burdens on corporations that can arise with large export contracts and by providing efficient capital turnover.
Token Asia Korea plans to expand this structure into a supply-chain finance product based on security token offerings (STOs), diversifying funding options for corporations entering global markets by structuring real-world assets arising from export transactions—such as accounts receivable, settlement payments, and inventories—more transparently and precisely.
The three companies will first push to supply private-label (PB) products to top-tier U.S. distribution channels Walmart and Kroger. Token Asia Korea plans to support management of financial variables that arise in this process and local operations, creating an environment where manufacturing (Segye Food) and distribution (FBH) can focus on their core businesses.
They also plan to link, in a one-stop manner, expansion into strategic markets not only in North America but also Japan's Don Quijote, Indonesia and Mongolia, and the Middle East.
In addition, Token Asia Korea will pursue a strategy to boost settlement efficiency at export and distribution sites by building a global payment infrastructure and to gradually expand the use cases for payments and settlements using a won-based stablecoin.
Token Asia Korea CEO Chang Jae-hoon said, "As an execution project that extends the K-Silk Road Digital 2.0 strategy to North America, the aim is to implement an integrated model that connects financial design, settlement, and capital turnover to enable superior domestic manufacturers to enter global distribution channels."
Chang is an alternative investment and asset securitization expert who has developed financial products for more than 20 years at global financial firms including Goldman Sachs, Fidelity, and Deutsche Bank Group.
