Korea Investment & Securities Co. will carry out a large paid-in capital increase of 1.5 trillion won.
On the 22nd, Korea Investment & Securities Co. disclosed that its board of directors decided on a paid-in capital increase through a rights offering. Parent company Korea Investment Holdings will participate in the paid-in capital increase and newly acquire 30,000 shares.
The issue price of the new shares is 50 million won per share, with payment due on the 26th of next month. The funds will be used as operating capital for Korea Investment & Securities Co.
Korea Investment & Securities Co. has been expanding its capital in recent years. It executed paid-in capital increases of 900 billion won in Aug. last year and 300 billion won at the end of 2024, and in March last year it also issued 700 billion won in contingent convertible bonds.
