NH Investment & Securities said on the 21st that the number of high-net-worth clients with at least 3 billion won has surpassed 6,000. As of the 14th, the number of clients with at least 3 billion won was 6,323, up 51% from 2024.
NH Investment & Securities said its WM division has strengthened its wealth management competitiveness through a differentiated VIP membership service for clients with at least 3 billion won and the "family office service," a wealth management platform for ultra-high-net-worth families. As a result, total assets at the WM division increased by about 2 trillion won from a year earlier.
In particular, growth was steep for the "family office service," a wealth management platform for ultra-high-net-worth families composed of a group of wealth management experts. In connection with the IB division, a model that integrates the management of personal assets and corporate assets is receiving strong responses from ultra-high-net-worth clients.
The family office service currently covers 229 families, up 61% from the end of 2024, and about 35% of newly enrolled clients either transferred assets from other firms or are newly acquired clients. The current threshold for family office enrollment is around 30 billion won.
Meanwhile, the WM division plans to continue strengthening the dedicated organization for the "family office service" and, beyond simple wealth management, provide total solutions that span the full life cycle of client families, including ▲ inheritance and gift tax consulting ▲ business succession ▲ real estate consulting ▲ support for establishing foundations and family corporations.
Bae Gwang-su, head of the WM division, said, "This year as well, we will further advance VIP services for high-net-worth clients and the family office service to leap forward as a top-tier wealth management house in Asia, beyond Korea."
