SK Securities said on the 16th that it held a "financial consumer protection practice pledge ceremony" to commit to customer-centered management in 2026.
The pledge ceremony was attended by WM Division head Kim Dong-hwan, Deputy Minister for financial consumer protection Kang Sung-ho, and branch managers nationwide, and Deputy Minister Kang gave a lecture on the theme "the new normal era centered on financial consumer protection."
After the lecture, participants carried out a "pledge for practicing financial consumer protection." The pledge included ▲ thinking and acting from the financial consumer's perspective ▲ complying with the six sales principles, including the suitability principle ▲ protecting financial and personal information ▲ efforts to safeguard customer rights and handle complaints.
Chung Joon-ho, CEO of SK Securities, said, "We will make every effort companywide to protect financial consumers and will continue to strengthen the internal systems that support it."
Meanwhile, in its 2026 organizational reshuffle, SK Securities elevated the existing financial consumer protection office to a headquarters to strengthen customer-centered management and established a structure that reflects financial consumer protection across its management system.
