On the 15th in the morning, NAU Robotics shares are surging on news of the Hanyang Robotics acquisition.
As of 9:33 a.m. that day, NAU Robotics is trading on the KOSDAQ market at 29,950 won, up 5,850 won (24.27%) from the previous session. The stock jumped as high as 31,300 won during the session.
Earlier, NAU Robotics disclosed the previous day that it had signed a contract to acquire equity in Hanyang Robotics, a robot and automation specialist. With this contract, NAU Robotics will secure 93.37% of Hanyang Robotics' equity. The acquisition price is about 7.5 billion won.
The deal is part of a strategic acquisition to strengthen competitiveness across NAU Robotics' robot business and execute its mid- to long-term growth strategy. The company said it expects Hanyang's accumulated manufacturing infrastructure and know-how to be fully combined with NAU Robotics' advanced robot technology.
