As of 9:44 a.m. on the 13th, on the KOSDAQ market, KHVATEC is trading at 15,460 won, up 1,320 won (9.34%) from the previous session. The day before, KHVATEC hit the daily upper limit and closed.
On the 12th, KHVATEC said it signed a supply contract for 53 types of exterior case parts for Rainbow Robotics' collaborative robots. The parts supplied under this contract are expected to be applied to all models across eight products in Rainbow Robotics' RB-series collaborative robot lineup.
KHVATEC has designated the robot parts business as a core mid- to long-term growth pillar and is expanding the business in earnest.
A KHVATEC official said, "We are pursuing entry into the robot assembly business based on assembly capabilities verified through the smartphone and ATM assembly business (EMS)," and noted, "We plan to expand the scope of collaboration with clients from parts supply to assembly, and to broaden the application scope from collaborative robots to dual-arm robots, humanoid robots, and quadruped robots."
