Hyundai Motor Securities said on the 13th that on the 12th it launched a new wrap account product, "Dajeong Daik Wrap Account." A wrap account product is a discretionary asset management service in which the client and the securities company sign an investment discretionary contract and designated management personnel manage the client's asset.
The Dajeong Daik Wrap Account is managed by a private banker (PB) from the Dajeong Daik team in the sales division at Hyundai Motor Securities, which took first place with a 3-month cumulative return of 51% in the "31st Korea Economic Daily Star Wars real investment competition."
The investment strategy is a "bottom-up" approach. Based on on-site visits to corporations, it conducts in-depth verification of corporate fundamentals and competitiveness and concentrates investment in domestic stocks with high growth potential. Even after investing, it continuously conducts corporate visits and conference call updates to monitor all holdings at all times. Target stocks are high-growth, technical moat, momentum corporations that are undervalued relative to intrinsic value.
This wrap account can be subscribed through the sales division (Seoul) of Hyundai Motor Securities and the mobile trading system (MTS). The minimum subscription amount is 10 million won, and while a contract term of at least one year is recommended, early termination is also possible.
Kim Jae-jeong, executive director and head of the WM Business Office at Hyundai Motor Securities, said, "Recently, the domestic stock market has shown a rapid pattern of sector rotation and stock rotation within leading sectors," and added, "We hope the wrap account introduced this time can be a good alternative to overcome individual clients' practical limitations in stock selection through actual visits to corporations."
