NH Investment & Securities said on the 5th that it received the top "Leadership A" rating in the "2025 CDP Climate Change Response Assessment (Climate Change)" released by the global climate change evaluation organization "Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)."
CDP is a global project that annually evaluates climate change response strategies, greenhouse gas emissions data, and reduction efforts of major corporations around the world. The ratings are divided into four tiers: ▲Leadership (A/A-) ▲Management (B/B-) ▲Awareness (C/C-) ▲Disclosure (D/D-). The "Leadership A" that NH Investment & Securities received is awarded to corporations that deliver high-level performance in overall climate change response activities and transparency.
In this assessment, NH Investment & Securities said it earned high marks for substantive climate change response efforts, including ▲climate change governance and risk/opportunity management ▲climate target setting and implementation ▲expansion of green finance investments and products.
Im Cheol-sun, head of ESG at NH Investment & Securities, said, "Earning the CDP A rating is the result of our efforts to lead the transition to a low-carbon economy through finance, going beyond simple carbon reduction, being recognized internationally," adding, "We will continue to take the lead in building a green finance ecosystem as a platform player representing the domestic capital market."
