Woori Investment & Securities said on the 5th it will offer commission-free benefits to domestic stock online transaction customers through Dec. 31 next year.
The benefit is designed to minimize, over the long term, customers' barriers to entry for domestic stock investing and provide an environment for free investment decision-making. When Woori Investment & Securities customers make a domestic stock transaction through online channels, they only need to pay related agency fees without a separate securities firm transaction commission. Without any separate event sign-up, it will apply to both new and existing customers under the same conditions for an extended period.
In addition, to reduce customers' burden of managing investment funds, Woori Investment & Securities is running a preferred-rate event for margin financing and stock-collateral loan transactions at an annual 3.9% through Dec. 31 this year. Customers who open an account at Woori Investment & Securities and complete agreements for margin financing or stock-collateral loans can automatically receive the preferred rate without a separate application.
