On Jan. 2, KB Kookmin Card CEO Kim Jae-gwan said in a New Year's address that "2026 will be a turning point that leads to tangible results through consolidation."
Kim emphasized, "We will make this a year of choosing, taking responsibility, and executing to the end," adding, "We will prove our fundamental competitiveness with actions and performance, not words."
To that end, KB Kookmin Card plans to strengthen a virtuous cycle in which on-site judgments swiftly lead to execution and to establish an execution-centered organizational culture. It also plans to rapidly scale changes for the future—such as system and environment improvements and the application of new technologies—based on sufficient validation and consensus.
KB Kookmin Card also plans to implement an efficient organizational restructuring to strengthen execution, field sales, and future core businesses. It aims to build an execution-centered and efficient organizational management system and to strengthen on-site sales competitiveness and the foundation for future growth in a balanced manner.
The sales institutional sector will streamline its organization and systems to enhance competitiveness at customer touchpoints. For future core businesses, it will strengthen links among customer analysis, products, and digital businesses. In digital, artificial intelligence (AI), and data, it will also support the promotion of digital-based businesses and data utilization capabilities systematically through organizational refinement.
