Jeonbuk Bank said on the 30th that it has appointed Park Chun-won (59), CEO of JB Woori Capital, as the next bank president.
Jeonbuk Bank held a board meeting and an extraordinary shareholders meeting in the afternoon and appointed Park as the new bank president. The term runs from Jan. 2 next year to Dec. 31, 2027.
Jeonbuk Bank said it highly evaluated Park's management performance and proven capabilities. It also said that, based on his achievements in leading the company's growth despite a difficult market environment, it judged him to be the right person to steer Jeonbuk Bank's sustainable growth.
Park, a native of Haenam, South Jeolla, graduated from the Department of Mineral and Energy Engineering at Seoul National University and completed an MBA program at the University of Chicago.
