Korea Investment & Securities Co. said on the 30th that it will hold a recruitment briefing session, "KIS Chat in Seoul," for students enrolled at overseas universities at its headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, on Jan. 7 next year.
The session is intended to introduce Korea's securities industry and Korea Investment & Securities Co. to international students who have returned home during the vacation. President Kim Sung-hwan is scheduled to personally present Korea Investment & Securities Co.'s vision and the type of talent that fits it.
The event will also feature a job briefing that takes a detailed look at the roles and work of each function, including global, investment banking (IB), and research. Counseling booths will be operated where applicants can meet on-the-job employees by function and hold Q&A sessions, going beyond the fragmentary information found online to provide applicants with detailed information about actual work. Applications can be submitted online.
Since 2015, Korea Investment & Securities Co. has selected global talent every year through its overseas-university track. This year as well, it plans to proceed with the screening process starting in Feb. It is also holding a separate non-face-to-face briefing session for applicants who find it difficult to attend due to living abroad.
