Korea Securities Depository (KSD) said on the 29th that it was selected as an excellent agency in the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's 2025 national key infrastructure disaster management assessment and received a Minister's commendation.
The Ministry of the Interior and Safety (MOIS), under the Framework Act on the Management of Disasters and Safety, has since 2010 evaluated national key infrastructure management agencies (145 agencies as of 2025) each year on compliance with procedures for establishing protection plans to maintain national core functions, priority risk management, and performance in implementing protection plans.
Korea Securities Depository (KSD) said it received high marks across disaster management capabilities for efforts to manage national key infrastructure that reflect the characteristics of the financial sector, including establishing response systems for cyberattacks and new risks based on artificial intelligence (AI).
KSD President Lee Sun-ho said, "We will do our best to protect the public's assets by operating national key infrastructure stably under any crisis," and added, "We will not rest on this achievement and will work to support the development of Korea's financial market through continuous risk management."
