The first comprehensive investment account (IMA) product released by Korea Investment & Securities Co. sold 1 trillion won in four days after launch. As a result, online sales have closed.
On the 23rd, according to the financial investment industry, online sales of "Korea Investment IMA S1," unveiled on the 18th by Korea Investment & Securities Co., have closed. Korea Investment & Securities Co. earlier rolled out the first IMA product in Korea. Korea Investment & Securities Co. had planned to sell 1 trillion won within the year, but it is estimated that more than 1 trillion won will be sold in four days.
Korea Investment IMA S1 has a closed-end structure with a two-year maturity, and the minimum subscription amount is 1 million won or more. The benchmark rate of return is designed at 4% per year.
IMA is a principal-obligation, performance-dividend product in which a securities company pools customer deposits to invest in corporate finance assets such as venture capital and returns the results of that management to customers.
Meanwhile, an official at Korea Investment & Securities Co. said, "We have met the 1 trillion won target, and additional subscriptions are being accepted offline until 5 p.m. today."
