Shin Jung-ha, an executive director and the third-generation Oner of Kyobo Life Insurance, has taken on the role of overseeing the group's "artificial intelligence transition" strategy.
Kyobo Life Insurance said on Jan. 15 that through its regular personnel reshuffle it appointed Shin as head of enterprise artificial intelligence transition (AX) support and head of group management strategy.
The enterprise AX support head is a department created through this organizational restructuring to oversee and formulate Kyobo Life Insurance and the group's AX strategy and strengthen execution of AI initiatives. Under it are four executive-level units: AX strategy, frontline AI support, AI tech, and AI infrastructure.
Shin is the eldest son of Kyobo Life Insurance Chairman Shin Chang-jae and joined KCA Loss Adjusting, an affiliate of Kyobo Life Insurance, in 2015 as an assistant manager. After working at Kyobo DTS, Shin joined Kyobo Life Insurance in 2022 as a deputy department head. At Kyobo Life Insurance, Shin served as head of the group data strategy team and head of group management strategy, and was promoted to executive director in Dec. 2024.
